Reflections Of Amsterdam - Welcome To The Middle Ages

Unedited mobile phone cam shot of buildings and a tourist lady, reflected in a puddle in Amsterdam. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop :)

This is another shot of the Spui, it's taken in the same area&puddle as the one from yesterday. The buildings are in front of the Begijnhof, a relict from the Middle Ages that looks pretty much the same it did hundreds of years ago, except for the junkies, pimps and whores that make the areainsecure lately, causing the poor old ladies living there to remember why they've chosen to stay in a secluded backyard that is separated from these modern times in the first place...I can't decide what I find more disturbing, the idea that some people want to pretend that it is still 1389 or that some nasty Evil-doers picked them as the victims for their daily dose of terror and intimidation!

Oh what a wicked world :))
