Even though we all choose different means of personal transportation, we usually all arrive at the same time, city traffic is a big equalizer that allows only small gains in speed over other participants by throwing rules and regulations at us that eat up all the advantages of traveling, for example, by bike. You can rush through the streets as fast as your legs allow it, but at the next red light, all those cars and lazy bums on their scooters will catch up with you again, and the only thing that consoles me personally while accepting this defeat, is the fact that you can actually see those rolling around in/on mechanized transport vehicles gaining weight as they wait for the green light, they sit there and wait, and the buttons on their pants start popping because they're too freakin' lazy to use their own bodypower to get to where they're going, lol :D
